Location: Sololá, Sacatepéquez and Chiquimula, in Guatemala.
Dates: November 2021 – November 2024.
- Improve access to decent employment, contributing to the improvement in the quality of life of their communities and the full respect of their rights.
- Strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, articulating actors from the public and private sectors: accelerators, business organizations, and the academic sector.
- Give access to technical training and support services, facilitating the development of inclusive businesses.
Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries are 1,500 young people and women from rural areas, primarily indigenous, in the Departments of Chiquimula, Sacatepéquez and Sololá. One-third of them are entrepreneurs managing a small business. In parallel, the support will reach nine entrepreneurship acceleration programs and five civil society organizations.
